Just Serve Me Some MAC On A Silver Platter!

I am such a MAC addict....well actually a makeup addict in general...sometimes I even think my love for it is a lil unhealthy lol...I'm so not the lady that thinks being made up is clear lipgloss and a white line on my eye lids (a look thats classic in Birdville). Nope not me!!! I gets it in (as these urban folks would say) foundation, masscara, colored lip gloss etc...

I just wanted to take the time to give my respect to makeup since it seems to be disrespected in "urban" communities...Its sad but I am the poster child of knowing how much of an individual I was... and even though in my book being an individual is a cool thing in birdville if they don't understand it it they can't stand it.... Girls especially the ones who look so rough around the edges you know (pinch braids, tight jeans, SNEAKERS(ugh) and achne walking down Whalley AVE with a cigarette and a D-block coat, another classic look) would always scream that they don't need make up! *coughs* Sure you don't!

But what happen to being girly and loving makeup, smelling pretty, and just being a woman... Like I'm not saying that wearing makeup is the only way to do that but a lady should branch out..... Alot may not agree. I love my makeup it makes me feel like I'm in my element....I go to the MAC counter and really know my product.... I'm no label whore and just wear MAC to say I wear MAC... I know about texture and looks that only MAC seems to ACE!!!!! I actually purchase some yesturday....

What really makes me cringe is that alot of my mocha complexted sistahs think because of their shade that they cannot do color....uh honey because of your shade you should do color....Your skin is beautiful and color does nothing but enhance that....it really pops!!! Get that brown paper bags system out your head!


I'm skeptical about my new lipstick shade simply because it feels like its missing something but of course I'll work it out.... so to all my plain Janes out there spice it up.... it is soooooo 2009!!!! I mean if men can apply makeup on national tv (RuPaul's Drag Race) so can you!!!! Til next time I'M SUCH A F-ING LADY!!!

Ladies this is a very touchy subject. Even though I must admitt me being the pre-teen that I was, was sooooooooo in love with this song when it came out. But we all know how ugly a situation like this really gets in the real world....

It def don't go down with two women SINGING there point of views. More like arquing and maybe even getting physical. Which is why I wanna ask my ladies why do woman get to territorial? Like why do we literally allow a man to have so much power....

There is nothing uglier than two grown women fighting over a guy....because if he really gave a damn one of the "parties" wouldn't exist for you to fight with... Just lil thought. So if the slogan "The Boy Is Mine" ever comes out your mouth, I hope and pray its because you were simply singing the song.....well that words from such a f-ing lady!!!

HOT ITEM OF THE WEEK

Now Y'all know I need my butt whooped lol! I am soooooo sorry. I have been slacking like what....I cannot believe I have kept you guys waiting sooooo long....And whats even more sad is that I don't have a real excuse....I was just slackin with my mackin (boooo). Well anyway let me give you guys the second addition of what I like to call "HOT ITEM OF THE WEEK." Ladies I thought long and hard about this one. Since my first "HOT ITEM OF THE WEEK" was a bit pricey (shout out to the lace wigs). Well even though I'm sooo tired of hearing the work "recession" its no denying that we are in one. With the economy being in the shambles that its in, we should really not take for granted the smaller things in life.....

With that said my "HOT ITEM OF THE WEEK" is NAIR!!!! I mean it really is the epitome of proof that small things can make a BIG difference. Imagine wearing that $200.00 dollar dress with hairy legs, or that sexy top from BEBE with hairy pits (yucky) it just wouldnt be the same... And whats sooooo good about NAIR is that you can soooo purchase this at Walgreen's (love that store)! The beauty of this baby besides the fact it had the ability to work your bikini line, arm pits, and legs it that it cost no more that six-seven bucks.

I will keep it real that I wasn't a fan of the way it smell but the rasberry kind smells great....and having sexy tone HAIR LESS legs makes it an amazing product!!!

SOME JUST CAN'T BE TAMED (I want a soldier)

WHY DO GOOD GIRLS, LIKE BAD BOYS???? That is the million dollar question... That no one seems to know the answer to.... I mean girls just love a man who has a lil inner "thugg" in them. (Yuck I actually perfer to say men who are a lil ruff around the edges) I think as females we want to believe that, the man that we are with can protect us!!! Now fellas don't go around being a wanna be. I'm one of the females who are blessed with an antenna for spotting phonies I'm also blessed to be dealing with the best of both worlds (shout to you #35)... There is nothing worst then a man who is trying to be something that he's not.. For that I don't even consider him a man (harsh)!

Anyway to get back on track, I used Jim Jones picture just because he looks like a street dude who I can so picture roaming Harlem til the day he dies. Like no matter how much "fame" he gets, there is something real local about him lol. Like the type to make four to six women fall in love, the type that thinks he is tooo cool to settle down....

Alot of woman actually find their selves being attracted to a man that they just can't get... Like maybe the whole challenge thing really turns them on(homegirl eventually you will get tired of chasing) What is it in these men that women just find so irresistable??? How many heart aches does it take for one to realize maybe he just can't be tamed....Then again even if you did tame him at the end WAS IT REALLY WORTH IT????

Ladies please know your worth... I know way too many females who think its cute comparing notes to prove who matters the most, or driving around town lookin for the animal, ladies I'm sorry to be the one to break it down to you but some guys really just needs to roam....and like DMX said he'll find his way home....

Okay told ya there would be days that I would slipp! I didn't think it would be the very next day (oops). So for the record it might not be every day but every other day there will be a lyric of the day.... And because hit singles are pretty boring simply because they are played almost every five minutes on your local radio station I'm going to try to avoid songs that were hit singles unless I just have to elaborate on a certain lyric..

For the most part they will be songs that you had to either purchase the album to know about or be a real "fan" of the artist. Because the whole point is to put you ladies on songs that you may have never known about....

The reason why I chose Fantasia song "Bump What Your Friends Say" is because when it comes to love as corny as this may sound only you really know whats best for you at the very end.... Not your mom, dad, sister, brother, best friend nobody...Because only you will feel the results of the outcome.. Yeah it may hurt your love ones to see you hurt but nobody is going to feel that level of hurt like you.....NOBODY. Not because they are hating, or jealous or any other adjective that means envy, but because simply they are outside looking within. Sometimes we have the BAD habit of editing the stories.

Not to mention that they minds might be to cloudy due to them trying to find a Mr.Right of their own. I'm not saying don't go to your girls for advice at all, but keep it mind lawyers are not the only people who are bias....and you don't wanna punch yourself for missing out on your MR.RIGHT!!!!
